Description

Ergonomics is the applied science that is used to address musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), the largest category of workplace injuries in the U.S. This seminar will introduce you to occupational ergonomics, discuss musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), review the signs and symptoms of MSDs, and discuss ergonomic risk factors, the workplace conditions or exposures that increase the likelihood of experiencing an MSD. This seminar will discuss tools and processes for conducting ergonomics risk assessments and analyses, as well as strategies and approaches that may be used to reduce or eliminate occupational exposures to risk factors. This seminar will also discuss each of the primary building blocks of a comprehensive MSD Solutions Program.
