Description
Work to Zero has identified the most common hazardous situations leading to nonroadway workplace fatalities, as well as relevant technology solutions to mitigate risk. Examples of workplace hazards involving critical risk across industries include work at height, fatigue, and equipment and vehicle strikes. This session will cover technologies capable of saving lives based on the real-life hazards to which workers are exposed. This panel will feature industry professionals and four priority technologies that Work to Zero has researched over the past year, including immersive technologies for training, proximity sensors for collision avoidance, drones for confined space entry and underwater work, and fatigue wearables and monitoring.
