Description

In this session, we’ll discuss the Safe System approach along with how to better leverage vehicle technology and behavioral science to help prevent serious collisions during implementation of the Department of Transportation’s National Roadway Safety Strategy. You’ll learn how components of the “safer vehicles and safer people” elements of the plan can be used to help to “fast track” the plan’s injury prevention benefits. Actual data resulting from the application of technology will be provided, along with suggestions on how behavioral science can be forensically applied to impact results and improve injury prevention in shorter time frames.
