Fall Protection: The Greatest Challenge in Compliance and Risk

Falls are one of the leading causes of workplace fatalities, and violations related to fall protection have been at the top of OSHA’s list for the past nine years. This session will address why fall injuries and fatalities continue to increase, and what the industry is doing to reverse the trend. This session will include practical information on how to reduce fall risk through proper planning, equipment use and training that truly changes workers' mindsets and behaviors. With references to OSHA 1926 and 1910, as well as the ANSI Z359, Z590 and Z10.32 standards, the presentation will convey information on Prevention through Design, fall prevention techniques and fall protection solutions.
