Yes, depending on how you register for the 2017 NSC Congress & Expo, a confirmation will be sent to you one of two ways:

ONLINE REGISTRATIONS
If you register online, a confirmation will immediately be sent to your email address.

FAX OR MAIL REGISTRATIONS
If you register by fax or mail, a confirmation will be emailed to you within five business days. If no email address is provided, a confirmation will be faxed to you within five business days. If neither an email address nor a fax number is provided, a confirmation will be mailed to you, via the U.S. Postal Service, within five business days.

Badges will not be mailed in advance. For expedited processing on-site please bring a copy of your confirmation letter to the Express Badge Pick-up counters located in the Indiana Convention Center.

The dress code for the 2017 NSC Congress & Expo is business casual.


 

Attendees are not allowed to bring rolling bags/suitcases on the Expo Floor. They must be checked at luggage/bag check.

All substitutions can be made online until the original badge has been verified onsite.

From your email confirmation, click the "Registration Online Access" link provided to make a substitution.  Be sure to update with the new person’s title, phone, email and demographic information.  If you have lost your confirmation email or received your confirmation via fax or mail, please contact NSC Customer Service at (800) 621-7619 or  customerservice@nsc.org.
 

Cancellations received in writing on or before Friday, September 23, 2016, will be refunded less a $100 processing fee.  Cancellations received after Friday, September 23, 2016, are non-refundable.

If the original badge has not been verified, a replacement badge can be issued one time free of charge. Badges that have been verified can be reproduced at the registration counters for a $100.00 processing fee. Photo ID is required in both cases.

The minimum booth size is 10' x 10' (100 square feet). Booths may be combined to create a larger space.

This cost is $26.00 per square foot for NSC Members, $27.00 per square foot for Non-Members. A 10' x 10' is $2,600.00 for NSC Members. If you are assigned a corner, you will be charged an additional $100.00 per corner.

A 10' x 10' booth rental package is available for $4,900.00. This package includes a hard wall booth structure in addition to the booth space cost.

Payment must accompany the Exhibit Space Application in order for booths to be assigned. Payment can be made by check (US funds), money order, wire transfer, or credit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.


 

Inline Booth – an 8' high back wall drape, 3' side rail drape, a 7" x 44" identification sign, and Sunday night vacuuming.

Peninsula Booth (20' x 20' that backs up to inline booths) – an 8' high back wall drape (in middle 10' section) on common back wall, a 7" x 44" identification sign and Sunday night vacuuming.

Split Island Booth (20' x 20' that backs up to another 20’ x 20’ booth) – Sunday night vacuuming.

Island Booth (minimum 20' x 30') – Sunday night vacuuming.

All booths also include five (5) badges per 10' x 10' space, listing on the NSC Congress & Expo website, listing Final Program, listing in Safety+Health magazine, and complimentary Exhibitor Guest Passes.

Additional items such as furniture, carpet, labor, cleaning, storage of boxes and crates, shipping, electrical and other services can be ordered through our general contractor, GES.


 

Height restrictions are based on the type of booth you have purchased.

The Exhibitor Service Manual (available in July 2016) includes the details of the Display Guidelines.


 

Most questions about fixtures, electricity, shipping, etc. will be answered in the 2016 NSC Congress & Expo Exhibitor Service Manual. (Available in July 2016).

Sales are not recommended on the Expo floor. However, you may take orders. If you choose to sell product you are responsible for collecting and reporting local and state taxes to the Illinois Department of Revenue.

Camera-type devices or knives must be orders only. Cash and carry will not be permitted.


 

General move-in begins Friday, October 14  and ends Sunday, October 16.

Installation of Exhibits/Move-In

Friday, October 14: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Saturday, October 15: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Sunday, Octover 16: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Each exhibiting company is entitled to 5 complimentary exhibitor badges for each 100 square feet of booth space. The allotment is 1 Full Congress badge and 4 Expo Only badges.

Full Congress includes:

  • Admission to the Expo floor
  • Opening Session
  • Keynotes
  • 3 days of Technical Sessions 
    (Expo floor lunch on Monday and Tuesday is not included with an Exhibitor Full Congress badge.)

"Expo Only" includes:

  • Exhibitor admission to Expo floor
  • Opening Session

During move-in, Expo hours and move-out, no one under the age of 16 (including infants) will be admitted, regardless of affiliation.

THIS RULE IS STICTLY ENFORCED. Persons 16 and over must register and pay the applicable fees in order to receive a badge. Proof of age may be requested.


 

Per the Exhibit Space Application and Contract, Exhibitors are NOT allowed to hold any type of meeting or function during Expo hours. No, the National Safety Council member list is not for sale.  However, a large number of NSC members do attend the NSC Congress & Expo and you may purchase the NSC Congress & Expo Attendee Mailing List.


 

The warehouse and direct shipping addresses and labels are listed in the Material Handling/Shipping section of your Exhibitor Service Manual (Avaiable in July 2016).

Yes, however, most hotels have very specific requirements regarding the use of a credit card number that is not issued in your name. All hotels will require the following:

  1. The completion of a credit card authorization form that you will need to request directly from the hotel where you have reserved your room.
  2. The individuals authorized to use this credit card will need to complete the form and fax it back to the hotel along with a copy of the front and back of the credit card.
  3. In most cases, the hotel will also require a copy of the credit card signer's driver's license.

If you know in advance that you will be using your company's credit card, please request a credit card authorization form from the hotel as soon as you have received your confirmation from onPeak.



No, hotel taxes vary based on city (Anaheim or Garden Grove) and will be reflected on your confirmation.


 

The hotel rooms being provided as part of the 2016 NSC Congress & Expo official hotel block have been contracted by the National Safety Council and the official housing provider onPeak. The 2016 NSC Congress & Expo official hotel block is available and offered to registered 2016 NSC Congress & Expo attendees and exhibitors only, and only such registered parties are authorized and permitted to reserve hotel rooms in this block.

Hotel reservations booked in the 2016 NSC Congress & Expo official hotel block are subject to approval by The National Safety Council.

Unauthorized use of the room block may result in the hotel reservations being canceled.
Unauthorized use includes, without limitation, the resale of rooms by third parties, travel agencies, event organizers, or tour groups without the express written consent of The National Safety Council. Neither the National Safety Council nor onPeak bears the responsibility for any costs, damages, or other liability incurred by any party due to cancellation of rooms in violation of these terms of use.

Shuttle service between select NSC contracted hotels and the Anaheim Conbention Center will operate Monday, October 17 through Wednesday, October 19 in connection with event times. The Service will only be available to those who booked their hotel room(s) thru onPeak, NSC’s official housing provider. 


 

The deadline to submit a presentation for the 2017 NSC Congress & Expo Call for Presentations is Friday, January 27. 2017.


 

Confirmed speakers and moderators will receive an email with a personalized Login and Password to access the NSC 2017 NSC Congress & Expo Speaker Service Center.  Once logged into the Speaker Service Center, a registration link will be provided.
