Executive Edge Track

Leadership is a critical success factor for EHS and business excellence.  To meaningfully and purposefully engage business leaders, an international panel of industry experts - who themselves have successfully driven business performance through EHS management - has developed an Executive Edge Track for the NSC 2009 Congress & Expo.

This 2-1/2 day track aims to engage executives in their dual role as leaders in both EHS and business.  The track begins with the highly-praised Executive Forum featuring a panel of leading business executives discussing and sharing their insights on the role of EHS in an economic downturn.  A series of Technical Sessions on Monday and Tuesday includes presentations by CEOs and executives of top-performing companies, including Robert W. Campbell Award-winning organizations.  These sessions will focus on implementation of EHS management systems, world-class leadership, and the use of leading EHS indicators to guide risk management strategies.

For the first time, workshops will be held to promote leader-to-leader dialog.  Executive Edge participants will sign up for one of the three half-day workshops held on Wednesday.  The workshops will provide an opportunity for cross-sharing of EHS management approaches with the goal of improving EHS management in businesses worldwide.

Who Should Attend?

Participants in the Executive Edge should be engaged in decision-making, strategic planning processes, resource allocation and the integration of EHS and operations in their organizations.  The Executive Edge Track is available to Attendees registering for Full Congress & Expo.  Participation is limited and workshop sign-up is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Be sure to look for the "Executive Edge" option when you register.  A confirming e-mail will be sent if you are placed in your selected workshop.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  Are there other restrictions for Workshop attendance?

A:  Workshops are limited to 25 attendees and preference is given on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please register for your preferred Workshop as early as possible to increase your chances of being placed in the Workshop of your choice.
