Effectiveness of Training Across Generations
Safety training is essential to workplace safety and can reduce the risk of workplace incidents and injuries. However, the effectiveness of safety training varies across generations due to differences in learning styles, attitudes and preferences. Workplaces are seeing the largest generational gap in history; Generation Z has entered the workforce, and Baby Boomers are delaying retirement. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in OSH Panel Discussion: 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Integrating Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) into safety and health planning provides critical perspectives in workplace and roadway safety. Marginalized communities experience significantly higher fatality and injury rates. Yet, there is much to discover behind the difference. This session helps safety draw the link between DE&I and safety outcomes.

All Hands on Tech: Innovation and Collaboration for a Safer Tomorrow
Cam Stevens is a chartered safety professional with two decades of combined experience in safety and technology. He coaches organizations to leverage technology and innovation to improve human and organizational performance. Stevens also advises the International Organization for Standardization on arti-ficial intelligence health and safety and immersive technologies. He’ll discuss the synergy between technology, innovation and collaboration in co-designing better, safer and healthier work.
After the Closing Keynote, don’t miss the Safety Innovation Challenge. You’ll hear from each challenge finalist, who
is actively working to address the most prevalent workplace injury: musculoskeletal disorders. The finalists will deliver a live showcase, including a demonstration of each tech solution, and provide real-life examples of how it can be used across diverse industries to reduce the risk of an MSD.
